Holy Qurbono lead by His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas and concelebrated with His Holiness Pope Shenouda III of Coptic Orthodox Church, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of Armenian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Mor Baselios Thomas I Catholicose of India and Metropolitans of Syriac Orthodox Church, Coptic Orthodox Church and Armenian Orthodox Church.

12:00 Noon -Concert by the International Syriac Orthodox Scouts' Orchestra

05:00 PM -Pilgrimage from St. Mary's Church in Seydnaya to St. Aphrem the Syrian Monastery in Ma'arrat Seydnaya

The grand celebrations marking the silver jubilee year of the enthronement of the Patriarch of Antioch, Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I, began in Kochi on 21 September 2005 at 5.00 pm. About 2,00,000 people participated in the marvelous function held at the (late) Mor Baselios Paulose II Catholicos Nagar in Marine drive ground, Cochin. 50,000 chairs with two large screens and many close-circuited TV's were arranged at the venue. The pandal itself was 1.5 lakh sq.ft. which is the largest erected temporary structure in the place. The Marine drive ground and the nearby city roads were overflowing with the faithful who came from all over the state. Even three hours before the meeting had started, the seats were full. As the Marine drive ground became insufficient to accommodate all, the faithful had to spill over to the nearby city roads as well.
