Inauguration of St Peters Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Phoenix

The prayers of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Christian Community in Greater Phoenix came to fruition with the inauguration St. Peters Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Phoenix on 12th March 2006 by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Titus Yeldho Pathickal, the Archbishop of Malankara Arch Diocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America . H. E. Archbishop inaugurated the Church by conducting the Holy Mass along with Rev. Fr. Sabu Thomas and Rev. Fr. John Kothakariyil, Vicar of the new Church.

The new Church will be operating out of the facilities of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church 525 N 74th Street , Scottsdale, AZ 85257 till the Church
establish it's own facilities.

His Eminence Archbishop Mor Titus Yeldho Pathickal in his inaugural speech thanked the support of His Eminence Archbishop Yusuf of Coptic Orthodox Church, Fr. Marcus & Fr. Philemon of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 525 N 74th Street, Scottsdale, AZ - 85257 for gracefully agreeing to provide the Church premises for conducting mass till we establish our own facilities. H.E. also expressed deep appreciation for Rev. Fr. Sabu Thomas for providing spiritual leadership for the community and the efforts for establishing the new church.
