Viswasa Samrakshakan released by Catholicose H.B. Baselious Thomas I

H.B. Baselious Thomas I prayerfully inaugurated and launched the Cyber Fortnightly, VISWASA SAMRAKSHAKAN (Defender of the Faith) in Malayalam at a simple function informally organized at the Archbishop's house, NY, USA. 

His Beatitude expressed his great appreciation about the organizers of this venture immediately after the launching of the fortnightly. His Beatitude told me that he has read a few pages of it and the writers had taken special care to take the interest of our holy church and extended all best wishes. 

H.E. Archbishop Mor Theethose Yeldho was also present in the function. The editorial board members express their indebtedness to Thethose Thirumeni for making all arrangements for the success of this informal function. 

Rev. Dn. Jerry Jacob and Mr. Babu Jacob, member of the advisory board also participated. 

VISWASA SAMRAKSHAKAN is expected to include 

1. A brief news section 
2. Comments and reports on contemporary church issues 
3. Remembering of the prelates, priests and leaders of the past 
4. Features to introduce the projects and functioning of dioceses and parishes. 
5. Highlight humanitarian and charity needs and activities. 
6. Replying to the claims and attacks by Pentecostals, and other anti church factions. 
7. Publish selected articles on Faith, History and Theology 
8. Publish Bible Study materials. 
9. Book reviews.
