Christ's Glorious Appearance - The Masanupsa

The word Christ has two meanings: ‘completion of prophecies’ and ‘end of awaiting ‘

Why did the prophets prophesize the arrival of the savior of mankind? In Genesis 3:15 we read “ and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between your seed and her seed: it shall bruise thy head and, thou shalt bruise his feet”. Thus the almighty have shown mercy towards his creation that has died from sin as he disobeyed his word.

If we closely examine the message given to the Shepherds from heaven in the very same night of the birth of Jesus in Luke: 2:10-11

“ Fear not, for: behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord”.

We can see that they proclaimed the birth of Christ as the savior to all people. As we all know he was born of a virgin without the intension of a man. Thus the seed of woman according to the master plan of The Creator has taken birth in the form of a man, or in the words of John, the word has become flesh. The word that God proclaimed in the Garden of Eden has materialized.

This is confirmed by Paul in his letter to Galatians 4:4

"But when the fullness of time come God hath sent forth his son made of a woman, made under the law”.

The Son of God lived among us as a man in flesh and body. He was as same as us except in sin. He was tortured, humiliated and crucified. It was all for our justification as Paul says in his Second letter to the Corinthians 5:21

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.“

This is the reason why we are going to be accounted for. This Grace has been showered upon us as a mercy from the Creator so that we shall enter into eternity, which was denied, to our great grand father. The door of heaven remains open for us; the sacrificed lamb is on the throne of mercy by the side of God. To turn a deaf ear to this gospel shall be a sure cause for the wrath of the Lamb, and who shall stand it, of course no one upon the earth. See revelation 6: 15-16 “ And the kings of the earth and rich men, and chief captains and the mighty men and every bondmen hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the rocks and the mountains, fall on us and hide us from the face of him that sitteth, on the throne and the wrath of the lamb “. So listen to the holy scripture, for..!

All the prophecies made about him got fulfilled except one, that is he promised his disciples and all people living and dead that he will come back to receive those who have died in him and who live for him. The righteous shall be richly rewarded and the wicked shall be put to eternal death in flames.

But if we forget the fact that the glorified Christ has resurrected and ascended and will appear again as a king to rapture his sons we shall be in peril. This appearance in the mid-sky along with the Archangel and millions of other angels will be ushered by the trumpet. Those who die in Christ shall be ruptured in the fraction of a second as it is promised in the Holy book. We must look forward for this moment throughout our life upon this Earth.

The question is when shall it happen the holy book says: Acts 1: 6-7

“ When they come together they asked him, Lord, will though, this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

“ and he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the father hath put in his own power.”

From this it is evident that we have to remain prepared at all moments to hear the great trumpet of the glorified Jesus Christ. For that what we need is only to lead a righteous life when we are in our flesh and body.

We saw him wrapped in swaddling cloths in a manger. But John saw the glorified attire. Revelation 1: 13-16

The clothes that men used to wrap him was left inside the Sepulcher itself as he was glorified by the father by returning his soul to achieve ultimate victory over death on the third day. Remember that 15:00 hrs of that Friday when he submitted his soul into the hands of his Father, who send him to the cursed Earth to complete his mission and master plan. Luke 23: 46 “And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost”.

Through this victory over the poisonous sting of death he ensured eternity to all those who believe in him.

The ensured eternity shall be obtained through the church only; I would like to recall the scene of the empty sepulcher. John who observed it along with Peter gives witness in John 20: 7 “ and the napkin that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself”.

Whenever you see the Masnupsa of an abbot remember it has four sections in the form a cross and three crosses each in one segment which reminds us the twelve disciples who have the right to judge the 12 tribes of the sons of Patriarch Jacob, Remember my brethren, the separated head napkin is the heredity of the Syrian Church, who from the first century onwards teach us to be a part of the church is nothing but to be honored as the body of Jesus, who offers us sure eternity as long as you are a member of the church.

Though he left over the earthly clothes John sees him in glorious attire in revelation 1: 13-16

“And in the midst of Seven candlesticks ……as the Sun shines in its strength”

On the occasion of another Easter, be sure that we can’t be a part of his body if we are impure from inside. Stay away from modern teachings and be sincere to the teachings of our forefathers and make out what is stated in the Holy Scripture.

So, My brethren, let me wind up this in the name of or lord and savior Jesus Christ who never turns away from a repenting heart. Let us pray along with the Psalmist: 51:10

“Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me “
