Happy New Year

Greetings in our Lord to all the readers of Shroro 

As we are starting a New Year, we need an annual check-up to our spiritual lives, as a self examination. A closer companionship with the blessed Lord and His divine company. St. Paul says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. In order to strengthen our future, we need to incorporate our life with Jesus Christ. How is this incorporation possible? By being kind, charitable and forgiving. 

We have only five loaves of bread and two fishes. When we extend them to the Lord’s hand, it will multiply and become capable of satisfying many. Our life should become God-centered instead of self-centered. Human failure centered life should become reward centered by incorporating our life with our Lord. Broken bread and out-poured wine in the Holy Communion should become our partaking of Christ in His work of dying and rising again. Our image is taken from His own image. He made us ‘male and female’. God looked on His children as living in a loving relationship and He remarked ‘it is good’. 

Let us have a complete fellowship with Christ. Wish you all a happy and fruitful New Year.
